I thought it was a shame. Seems like SNL grabbed her way to early in her career when she needed more practice performing live. She loves acting and sounding theatrical but made it apparent that she doesn’t have full control over her voice. But I also believe that her style of singing and performing is not for everyone. I feel bad for her with that being her first impression on a more “mainstream” audience. It won’t stop me from seeing her live if she ever tours though.
